_Grey's Anatomy_; Snow Patrol.

I love Grey's Anatomy. Not only is it a fabulous show, but it has the most kick-ass soundtrack. And, yes, I totally cried during the season finale.

"If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life"

--Snow Patrol, "Chasing Cars"

Not sure wehre to pu the comment, but on Turtle Island do they have shells instead of homes?

There is a They Might Be Giant's song called Here on Fibber Island.Or something similar that makes hink of this.

Haha.

"Turtle Island" refers to the American Indian belief (of some tribes, anyway) that the Earth was formed on the back of a turtle (and still exists there, today). Plus, I love turtles.

Oh. Okay that's pretty neat actually. I heard about the world being 4 giant elephants that is on a turtle.

Cool! Yeah, turtles are v. sacred and important in some Am. Indian mythology (I call them "American Indians" because I wrote an article once, and that was that particular tribe's preference). A turtle is like a Mother Earth. I also went to a pow-wow of a tribe called Turtle Nation, or something. They weren't all "true" Am. Indians, some just adopted the lifestyle, though.
